  • You know you were getting closer and closer to Kenneth‘s little patch of heaven when the winding country roads got narrower and narrower...then all of a sudden you see the apricot posts heralding the entrance to the long lane that leads you to this beautiful meadowed oasis perched on the edge of the sea. It is simply beautiful. I was blessed on the evening of my arrival with the most magnificent sunset and Kenneth and his "Girls" (Millie and Rosie his lovable Irish Terriers) greeted me with a half a dozen beautiful free range eggs and a lovely bottle of red wine as they showed me through the simply designed charming little hut that was to be my home for the next four nights. The fireplace and the deck chairs were set out upon the lawn looking out to see and the internal wood fired burner was already fully stocked. The classical music playing over the Wi-Fi digital radio provided the most soothing background to rid yourself of all of the stresses of city life. I brought my bike with me and peddled along the coast on one of the most beautiful days I’ve ever seen in Ireland. Even when the odd tempest did come in off the sea the little Hut maintained its charm and warmth. This has been a fantastic stay and it is with real regret that I’m going to head back to the city but I will do so knowing that I will return if I’m lucky enough to this magnificent little spot. Kenneth you need to be congratulated on what you have created here. Treasure it as I know you do. And thanks for sharing it with so many of us. Take care. God bless. Johnny.

  • Best place we’ve ever stayed in any country - hands down. This is a piece of heaven. Kenneth is an impeccable host, so gracious, and his artistic touches to this modern space are lovely. This is the place to retreat from the noise of urban life; the natural beauty here is unrivaled. I’m SO glad we found this gem!

  • What a gem of a place! One of the few places we have stayed at which looks so so much nicer in reality ! Gorgeously located, very spacious, chic design and loaded with everything you need - we really didn’t feel the need to get out at all :) and some wonderful walks and birds all around.

  • The VIEW is breathtaking and magnetic; the air is fresh and silent... only interrupted by bird songs and the wind sound; the colours of the landscape, the sea and the sky are constantly changing. You are in a blissful place with eclectic and recycled pieces interiors and generous touches from the hosts. Cook, walk, read and bring board games with you to enjoy it in full!
